Former Prosecutor

Mr. Dunham began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit under State Attorney Brad King, and while at the State Attorney's Office he handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Dunham tried numerous cases for the State of Florida including several DUI trials.

This unique experience enabled Attorney Dunham to acquire an immense understanding of criminal law and the trial process, and he then used these invaluable skills to provide exceptional representation to clients in the realm of civil practice. Mr. Dunham was able to apply his trial experience as co-counsel in a number of personal injury cases, including a multimillion dollar trial involving a tractor-trailer.

Primarily a Trial Attorney

Although Mr. Dunham now focuses his practice primarily on criminal defense and family law, above all he considers himself to be a trial attorney. He believes that the real work of an attorney is not done from behind a desk, but rather in the real world of the courtroom. In light of this belief, Mr. Dunham does not choose cases simply because of the laws and circumstances involved but instead based on his clients' needs for strong and proven trial strategy.

Attorney Dunham's successes can be attributed to his powerful combination of courtroom experience and extensive knowledge of the law. He has dozens of trials under his belt, including first-degree life felony cases, family law trials involving significant assets, and complex personal injury trials.

Additionally, he has provided skilled counsel in thousands of hearings for cases involving everything from domestic violence injunctions in family law matters to motions to suppress felony DUI cases.

Direct Contact With Clients

To best serve his clients, Mr. Dunham prefers to communicate with his clients directly through email rather than making them first go through staff members like at traditional "layered" law firms. This approach allows his staff to focus on the timely filing of court documents and office logistics, which helps make clients' experiences with his firm even better.

Every case is different, which is why Attorney Dunham is committed to providing his clients with the detailed and attentive representation they deserve in order to receive the strongest opportunity for a successful case result.
